How this started

Had this tee I loved, super comfy, couldn't find it anywhere for ages. Finally found it again and needed to print something on it so I just put my name in brackets. Got a few nice comments. Then just took it too far I guess.

The point

96% of NFT collections are dead, trading down 90%, Bieber's ape worth like $60k now lol. I think this is cooler tbh, it's a real thing you can wear and you don't have to be weird about it. Those that know will know.

Want to be the only person on earth with [NEW_YORK] on a tee? I think that's pretty cool. If not then don't buy it.

The idea

I hate crypto, think it's mostly dumb and robs dumb people. Someone paid $69 million for a jpeg anyone can screenshot lol. But a one-of-a-kind shirt you can actually wear is way cooler than a png that doesn't do anything. Can't right-click save a shirt.

So yeah built this. Each config can only be sold once, system won't let you buy something that already exists. No wallet no gas fees no blockchain bullshit, just real things. Was called nftees for a while, you get it.

Why mortal

Shirts don't last forever. Wear it wash it spill coffee on it whatever, eventually falls apart. When it does it's gone, no permanent record on the blockchain. Just a thing that existed then didn't. Seems more honest than pretending digital receipts mean something I dunno.

What this is

Platform for limited physical goods. First collection is Strings—text in brackets, one of one. Might be other stuff later, limited runs drops whatever, who knows.
